LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- The Southern California Mormon Choir will
join with the Morgan Utah High School Choir for a free concert 7pm on
Saturday, April 15, at the Laguna Hills Methodist Church. The church
is located at 24442 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills, California.
The Southern California Mormon Choir is a 120-voice choral ensemble
organized under the auspices of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints. Since its formation in 1953, the choir has been
performing concerts of classical, sacred, folk, patriotic and popular
choral music throughout the Southern California area.
The Choir recently performed Handel's Messiah at the Dorothy Chandler
Pavilion in Los Angeles last December and will be one of choirs
participating in the Easter Sunrise Service at the Hollywood Bowl on
April 23rd.
