LETHBRIDGE, ALBERTA, CANADA -- See Max. See Max's comic collection.
See Max's store.
Just a Little Left of Reality has become a popular store in Lethbridge, AB,
despite having started from a comic book collection. Local residents Max
and Sanna-Miina Palmer recently started the store which not only specializes
in selling comic books, but movie memorabilia as well.
Max, who served a mission in Dublin, Ireland, in the early nineties, owned
the comic collection. But he and his wife both realized they would need more
than just comics in order to be successful. They now sell everything from
ties to t-shirts to locally-made suits of armour to talking Austin Powers
posters.
Their clientele are fairly regular as new comic books come in monthly and
people who like unusual birthday gifts find just what they need at the
store.
Currently, Max works at the store only on weekends and evenings until they
become successful enough for him to leave his other job and do this
full-time. "Our goal is to have him work here every day - so I can get back
to my crafts projects," says his wife Sanna-Miina, a native of Finland and
also a returned missionary from the Dublin, Ireland Mission.
