The Ark is Back
LDS Canada News 16Jul00 A4
CARDSTON, ALBERTA, CANADA -- If at first you do succeed, try, try
again. And this is exactly what the Carriage House Theatre in
Cardston is planning to do with The Ark.
The Ark is an eight-person musical based on the biblical story of Noah and
his family. It contains not only biblical themes but contemporary ones as
well, as this father tries to focus his family in a new direction.
The musical, co-written by Michael McLean of Heber City, UT, received so
much success last summer at its world premiere in Cardston, that Dr. Robert
Russell, producer of the theatre is pleased to see it here again.
Especially after a substantial upgrade to the theatres digital lighting and
sound system.
The performance will appear at the theatre July 29, 2 p.m. for the matinee
and 7:30 for the evening performance. Tickets are 12$ for adults and 10$
for students and seniors. Tickets and more information can be found by
contacting 653-1000.
