'An Evening With Frederick & Anna Douglass' at DC Temple Visitors' Center
KENSINGTON, MARYLAND -- Just a little additional information
regarding our program on Friday evening, February 1st at the
Washington, DC Temple Visitors' Center, entitled, "A Walk Through the
Pages of History with Frederick and Anna Douglass," which features
Frederick Douglass, IV, and his wife, B.J. Douglass--
The program is free and open to the public and begins at 7:00 p.m. on
Friday, February 1, 2002. It will be held in the main theater of the
Visitors' Center. This stirring presentation, which is a mixture of
music and the spoken word, recounts the first Frederick Douglass'
rise from slavery on the Eastern Shore of Maryland to his successful
campaign for the abolition of slavery.
The evening will also feature the music of Casey Alexander, too.
We hope you will join us for this special event and will bring your
friends, too.
