The first edition of the Latter-day Herald is hot off the press
and available FREE of charge at several LDS bookstores or
mailed to your home each month by subscription.
The LDHerald is a regional LDS newspaper serving the
Saints of the District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland,
Delaware, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
The premiere issue features a front page story on the Festival of Lights
and a profile article on Dr. Eugene Morlan, Emeritus Director of the
Mormon Choir of Washington. Bro. Morlan retired from his position
as director in December after 18 years of service.
Other features include obituaries of Delores Bailey Middleton, beloved
and longtime member of the Washiington DC Stake; and of McLean Stake
member Harry Garber, an officer and singing member of the Mormon Choir of
Washington.
