EXCLUSIVE: President Hinckley to Publish Book with Random House

LDS Church President Gordon B. Hinckley will publish a book early next year with publishing giant, Random House, the world's largest english-language trade publisher. Hinckley's book, "Standing for Something" will be published by the Times Books imprint of Random House in March of next year. It could be on bookstore shelves as early as January.

"Standing for Something" is characterized by the publisher as 'Inspirational Non-Fiction,' and will reportedly address three topics, Integrity, Family and Faith. The book is written for a contemporary American audience, which is why it is being published by Random House instead of Church-owned Deseret Book.

At a recent sales conference, the book reportedly was well received by the Random House sales force, who will sell the book to bookstores and other media outlets.
