Description

Mormon-index is a weekly list of queries, responses, announcements and information on the Internet about or for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the Mormon Church). Announcements and information can include any kind of Internet resource, including Web pages, Email lists, IRC chat channels, Newsgroups, etc.

Typically, issues of Mormon-index contain queries sent to the list about how to find Mormon resources, subsequent responses to those queries, and announcements of new or changed Internet resources.

Many times, an issue of Mormon-index will include a summary of internet resources on a subject. If you maintain a list on a given subject, you are welcome to send a note to Mormon-index and I will include your list in a future issue.

Queries, responses and announcements can be sent in by anyone, just by sending an email message to Mormon-index.

This list is open to anyone that is interested in the Mormon Church. Those that provide Mormon internet resources are especially encouraged to join. The accuracy of any URLs or addresses is verified before they are included in an issue of Mormon-index.

I urgently need your announcements. If you maintain a Mormon internet resource, please make sure I have announced it in Mormon-index. If you make changes to your resource, please send a note to Mormon-index so that it is included in the next issue.

To subscribe to Mormon-index, simply send the message "subscribe mormon-index" (no subject necessary) to majordomo@mailing-list.net, or use the button below.

You do not have to be a subscriber to post to the list. However, if you are not a subscriber, you may not see the information you posted in an issue, and you will miss knowing about the thousands of Mormon internet resources.
