SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH -- This article looks at the depiction of Christ in
artwork around Salt Lake City. The author looked in churches,
galleries and Christian stores comparing the way Christ is depicted.
Johnston was amazed at the number of new portraits of Christ available, each
one unique. While all the artwork was interesting, the author found
them somewhat unsatisfying--he prefers the portrait most familiar to
him. This was done by Heinrich Hofman and it is the portrait from his
youth, one that "left a lifetime imprint" on him
