Cardston Man Finds Natural Bipolar Cure
CALGARY, CANADA -- When four family members have the same nervous
system disorder, it's enough to convince someone that something needs
to be done. This is exactly what happened to Anthony Stephen.
With his two oldest children being diagnosed with bipolar disorder
and his wife and father-in-law both taking their own lives as a
result to the same disorder, Stephan knew that something other than
traditional chemical treatments held the answer.
After the father of ten and LDS Church member discussed this with his
friend David Hardy, the two came to realise that nutritional
supplements, similar to those used to prevent aggressive, destructive
behaviour with hogs, could be used to treat the disorder, also known
as manic depression.
Now operating under the organisation of Synergy Group of Canada Inc.,
the two introduced their findings as EM Power Plus, a non-commercial
product containing 36 vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, with amino
acids to enhance the body's ability to absorb them.
Studies by the University of Calgary's faculty of medicine suggest EM
Power Plus can improve bipolar disorder symptoms by 50 per cent
within 30 days and reduce medication dosages by at least two-thirds.
Because of the success their product has seen, the research team has
now received a $500,000 grant from the Alberta Science and Research
Authority to conduct double-blind, randomized clinical trials of 100
people with bipolar disorder. This may provide other double-blind
studies into EM Power's effectiveness for other disorders, such as
ADHD, Tourette's Syndrome and depression.
