Lethbridge Nativity Back on Track
LETHBRIDGE, ALBERTA, CANADA -- The annual nativity display in
Lethbridge is now back to normal despite not running in 1999, when
the organiser moved to Regina in November with her husband,
Lethbridge Alberta Stake President Jack Oviatt. President Oviatt had
been called to be the second counsellor in the Regina Saskatchewan
Temple presidency.
Now that a new committee has been put together, the very popular
event will run from 30 November to 02 December 2000. Thursday's show
times are for three hours, starting at 18:00. Both Friday and
Saturday will run all day beginning at 10:00, with Friday's show
going an hour longer than Saturdays, ending at 21:00.
Both members and non-members of the Church throughout Southern
Alberta will be displaying nativity scenes, ranging in size, material
and culture.
Accompanying the display will be musical ensembles, including choirs,
soloists, strings, harps, flutes, bells and brass.
Admission is always free and the location is in the Lethbridge
Alberta Stake Centre, next to Enmax Centre (formerly the Sportsplex).
