National Radio Program Looks At LDS Church's Affect on Salt Lake Business
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- The Public Radio International radio program
Marketplace, heard on public radio stations throughout the U.S., is hosting
its show from Salt Lake City today, and will include a segment on the LDS
Church and business in Salt Lake City. The program visits Salt Lake as part
of its program of periodically visiting locations around the nation.
A promotional spot for the program mentions the effect that drawing LDS
mission presidents from the business population has, and marketplace says
that the show covers business in Salt Lake City in general. The program air
time depends on which station you listen to, but the program will air as
early as 5 pm EST (2 pm PST), and will be broadcast over the Internet from
many of those same stations.
