One Mormon to Play in Super Bowl, PGA Tour Begins
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- One Mormon player, Edwin Mulitalo of the
Baltimore Ravens is on a in this year's Super Bowl, after the Ravens
won their game against the Oakland Raiders this past week. Mulitalo
is an Offensive Guard for the Ravens. All other Mormon players have
completed their seasons, including the New Orleans Saint's Keith
Poole who, Mormon News learned this week, is Mormon.
Meanwhile, the PGA tour began its first week, and three of the five
Mormon players finished in the money. Jay Don Blake tied for 26th and
Mike Reid tied for 32nd in the Touchstone Energy Tucson Open, while
Mike Weir tied for 12th in the Mercedes Championships.
