LDS Family Featured in Sacramento Bee

ELK GROVE, CALIFORNIA -- The Sacramento Bee Family Album recently featured the Boyle Family of Elk Grove, who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Seth Boyle, 30, a teacher at Elk Grove High School, and his wife, Tiffany, 26, a homemaker attended Bella Vista High School together, but the gap between senior and freshman kept them apart. It wasn't until Seth returned from a two-year mission to Germany that they noticed each other at a church-sponsored young adult activity. After 15 months of dating, they were married in the Oakland Temple.

In addition to teaching, Seth also coaches the under-18 San Juan girls soccer team, which won a state championship last season. "Our daughters (Alyson, 2, and Megan, 16 months) already know how to kick and dribble, and they try not to touch it with their hands," Tiffany says. "They don't always succeed at that, though."

Seth believes family is the center of life. "My wife and kids are so much fun to be with that it makes it easy. Family is the center of our religion and the focus of what life is all about," he said. He and Tiffany also believe it is important to teach your children respect for others, and they want their girls to have a to have a sense of humor, a sense of loyalty and a sense of what it is like to achieve goals.

"I just want to provide them with everything they need to become successful in life," Seth says. "That ranges from receiving a good education to teaching them correct morals and principles."
