Speaking of Faith in Everyday Terms
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH -- Many books have been written about faith, the
importance of it, and the source for it. Elder Stephen D. Nadauld
takes a fresh, practical approach and discusses what it means in
down-to-earth, everyday terms in "Justified by Faith" (Deseret Book,
$18.95).
This timeless topic is tied to a thought-provoking discussion of two
other vital gospel principles -- justification and grace. Through his
writings, Elder Nadauld teaches us how to build and maintain faith,
how the many evidences the Lord gives us can strengthen our faith,
what it means to be justified and how to receive that blessing, the
deep generosity of grace, and the role of the Holy Ghost in that
process.
Utilizing stories, analogies, charts, and graphs to illustrate and
underscore the concepts taught, he encourages the reader to
appreciate fully "the elegance of faith, the logic of justification,
and the emotion of grace."
"Justified by Faith" bears powerful witness that if we develop faith,
repent, and are justified through the atonement of Jesus Christ, the
Savior's grace enables us to enter into His kingdom, where we can
dwell with our loved ones forever in love and peace.
