Three LDS Chapels Evacuated After Bomb Threats
SANDY, UTAH -- Three separate bomb threats phoned to LDS
meetinghouses in Sandy, Utah led local officials to evacuate the
buildings on Sunday, January 13th. The meetinghouses were closed for
the remainder of the day while police searched the buildings for
explosive devices. No such devices were found, and police are
treating the threats as hate crimes because the caller expressed
dislike for the LDS Church.
