Steve Young, Olympic Volunteer Triple Threat
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH -- When former NFL quarterback Steve Young does
something, he does it all the way. Or at least that's what it looks
like. The former San Francisco 49er filled many different volunteer
roles during the Olympics, including carrying Britain's team banner
in the parade of athletes at the opening ceremony, warming up a crowd
for the pop group Train and even newsboy. Young was spotted at one
point carrying newspapers through the lobby of the International
Olympic Committee's hotel.
