KZION Gets 27 Albums From Heartrise
ST. GEORGE, UTAH -- KZION LDS Internet Radio, the only independent,
Internet-based music radio station which caters to members of The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, recently received one of
the largest collections to date in a series of music donations by LDS
music distributors and record labels.
Heartrise Productions, a record label and distributor for LDS music
based out of Logan, Utah, sent 27 albums over a week ago to KZION.
The donation easily outranked the previous highest number of albums
from any one company which up until then had only reached 10.
"Most CD's come individually from the artists themselves," said John
Hesch, KZION's Program Manager. "I receive one to two per week. I had
written Heartrise a few weeks before and never heard from them so
actually I forgot all about them. I was pretty surprised when I got
them."
According to Kim Siever, Public Relations Manager for KZION,
Heartrise's unprecedented collection now brings the number of
potential songs on KZION's play list to well over 1000. "Once the
albums have been converted to a streaming format, KZION listeners can
soon expect to hear and request selections from such well-known
artists as Dan Carter, 259, Jeff Larson and Kathleen Holyoak, among
others."
KZION accepts donations of albums from distributors and independent
artists to be played on the air. Fell free to contact John Hesch at
