Newlywed Died in Head-on Collision
WELLING, AB -- Jess Zobell died Monday when his red Hyundai Excel
crossed over the centre line of Highway 5 near his Welling home and
ran head-on into a Toyota, closing down the highway for an hour.
The 23-year-old Georgia Macon Mission alumnus had just married his
wife Janelle Woolf a little over three months ago in the Cardston
Alberta Temple. In addition to his wife, his parents and ten siblings
are left to remember the loving, spiritual and cheerful son and
brother they knew so well.
Police ruled out alcohol as a factor contributing to the accident.
Though they have yet to release the exact cause of the accident,
other sources, close to the family, reveal that Zobell may have
fallen asleep at the wheel.
