Internet: New Retail Sites

NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- The new websites this week were dominated by a couple of well-designed retail websites. Neither the Missionary Shop nor ScriptureCovers.com have a lot of products, but they are somewhat unique in what they offer. Also notable is the German-language site, Hajos, which includes a collection of German-language documents about the LDS Church's teachings and practices.

Newly Listed Mormon Websites:

Hajos Site Hauptseite

German-language site with a collection of documents on LDS theology and teachings. Also includes some links to other German-language Mormon sites.

Jesse World

Portuguese-language personal site meant to hold information about the LDS Church, but currently the site has no content.

LDSStakes.org

Nicely designed website with links to LDS resources around the Internet. Apparently meant to concentrate on websites for stakes and wards, until the Church asked for them to be disabled. Currently has links to over 800 other sites in 45 categories.

The Missionary Shop

Retail website selling shirts and suits for LDS missionaries.

ScriptureCovers.com

Cleanly-designed retail website selling scripture covers imported from a variety of sources. Products include "Lamanite" scripture covers, special scripture covers, Caribbean necklaces, Caribbean caps and Mayan dolls.

United Order Research Group

Website hosts discussion forum on the United Order or law of consecration.
