LDS Toddler's Tragic Death Appears Accidental
MODESTO, CALIFORNIA -- A North Modesto LDS family is mourning the tragic
death of their 3-year-old daughter following a family outing Sunday. Andie
Marie Preciado was found dead in the back seat of the family's car about
three hours after they returned home from a family outing. An autopsy was
scheduled for this morning, but police believe the death was accidental.
After returning from an outing at about 3 pm Sunday, the parents and five
children in the Preciado family went in the house, inadvertently leaving the
three-year-old in their Chevrolet Suburban for three hours. Adolfo and Linda
Preciado discovered their daughter at about 6 pm, after the family realized
Andie was missing. Paramedics said it appeared that the girl had died long
before she was discovered.
