Former MoTab Organist Schreiner Honored |
In honor of what would have been his 100th
birthday, Alexander Schreiner Centennial Celebration was held on
September 8-9. A series of lectures, a banquet and a recital on the
Tabernacle Organ that Schreiner helped acquire more than a half
century ago, honored the virtuosic performer nearly 15 years after
his death in 1987. |
Film Company Receives Emmy |
Award-winning film production
company, Partners in Motion, added an Emmy last week to the other 75
awards they've received since LDS Church members started the company
eight years ago. |

Christ of Latter-day Saints, was announced today in the Conference
Center. |
EFY Composer Releases Original Piano Book |
The composer of the EFY Medley has released
his latest piano book of original music to accompany his CD,
Creations. Michael R. Hicks announced the completion of his Creations
Piano Book just three weeks following the 2001 Pearl Awards, where
his Creations CD was nominated for three awards, including
Sacred/Inspirational Instrumental Song of the Year. |
