Missionary Mail to Brazil; Sites Selling Books
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- Several of the websites that have shown up as new this
week are selling unique LDS books, outside of normal LDS bookstores. These
sites are selling original hymnbooks, books of gospel-centered Family Home
Evening activites and a local LDS history. In addition, a new mail delivery
service speeds up delivery of mail to LDS missionaries in Brazil and a home
teaching service tries to help wards and home teachers track what they are
doing.
The mail delivery service, BrazilMissions.com, takes letters over the
Internet, printing them out and mailing them using domestic, first-class
mail to missionaries serving in Brazil, significantly speeding up the
delivery in the process by avoiding the international leg of the delivery.
Home Teaching Tracker essentially provides the same kind of software
available in the home teaching functions in the LDS Church's MIS software,
but makes it publicly available on the Internet.
Newly Listed Mormon Websites:
