Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Quorum of the
Twelve Apostles will preside over the launching of a 57-foot long,
double-hulled canoe carved by Brigham Young University-Hawai'i during
a community ceremony on Nov. 3 at Hukilau Beach.
Patricia A. Pinegar, former general Primary president of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, spoke to students and
faculty of Brigham Young University-Idaho during Tuesday's devotional.
The president of BYU-Idaho will be the speaker at a
university devotional Tuesday (Oct. 23) at 11 a.m. in the Marriott
Center at Brigham Young University.
