In View of Temple, Graffiti Again Seeks Dorothy's Surrender
If you visit the Washington DC Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints often, you've probably seen it. On a railroad bridge, as you approach the Temple from the East on the Capital Beltway, is scrawled in graffiti words that say so much about how the Temple is misunderstood. "Surrender Dorothy" they read.

A Look at Bishop's Storehouse Shows LDS Welfare System
This fall has become one of the busiest times the Bishop's Storehouse in Colfax, North Carolina has seen. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints councils its members to keep a one-year supply of groceries in their home in the event of unemployment or disaster. After September 11, more members have come to the storehouse to buy beans, sugar, powdered milk, wheat and other non-perishables to vacuum pack and store at home.

The Brigham Young University devotional by Elder John H. Groberg of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints scheduled for Tuesday (Dec. 4) will be broadcast live at 11:05 on KBYU-TV (Channel 11) and the BYU-Television satellite network.

Former Olympian to discuss experiences Dec. 6
Former Olympic speed skater Barbara Lockhart will present a lecture concerning her Olympic experiences Thursday (Dec. 6) at 3 p.m. in the Harold B. Lee Library Auditorium at Brigham Young University.

Christmas Tree Lane to open at BYU-Idaho
Christmas Tree Lane, a long-standing tradition at Brigham Young University-Idaho, will be available for public viewing beginning Dec. 3. The trees will be placed on the second floor of the Manwaring Center where they will remain until Dec. 17.
