| Geneva May Return to Normal by February |
| Geneva Steel, one of the major employers in Utah
County, could be back producing steel as early as February, if market
conditions and finances work out. The steel mill has been shut
down since last fall. |
| Year's Strong Start in Markets Boosts MSI Another 2% |
| A strong beginning for 2002 in U.S. Stocks also
pushed up the Mormon Stock Index another 2% this past week. Led by
market leaders American Express and Dell Computer, the MSI reached
115.62, up 2.11. The index rose nearly 3% from the beginning of the
year, which started last Tuesday. |
