Water Trouble with LDS Farm Worsens |
The number of households without water grew from 36 to
68 in the western part of Saginaw county on Friday as the Saginaw County
Department of Public Health rejected one large scale irrigator's water
management plan. According to Kevin W. Datte, the county's environmental
health director, the county also dismissed parts of a proposal from The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while accepting Clio-based
Walther &Sons Farm's plan. |
MSI: Hollywood Entertainment Up Big, but Index Still Falls |
LDS Church member Mark Wattles' video rental firm,
Hollywood Entertainment, was up 27% last week, leading just 10 other
companies on the Mormon Stock Index who increased last week. The other 23
companies, led by Dell Computer and AES Corp., dropped the index 3.36% for
the week, more than the Dow Jones Industrial Average, but less than the
NASDAQ's 5.3% drop. |
Infotopia Names LDS Man Chief Financial Officer |
Infotopia, Inc. (OTC BB:IFTA) has named Gregory L. Kofford
to the post of Chief Financial Officer. In this position, Mr. Kofford will
perform financial duties and aid in the implementation of merger and
acquisition strategies. Previously, Mr. Kofford was retained as a financial
advisor to Infotopia through Cogent Capital Corp. |
