BYU a Premier Language School
PROVO, UTAH -- An article in the current issue of BYU Magazine makes
the case that BYU is one of the leading language schools in the
world. The LDS Church-run university currently offers classes in 35
different languages, and, due to its LDS returned missionary base,
teaches those languages at a higher fluency level. More than 25
percent of the student body enrolls in a foreign language, three
times the average for schools in the U.S.
