LDS Returned Missionary commits to help rebuild after Mitch (Rebuilding after Mitch)

A year ago, Terry Johnson, 65, a biochemist from Grants Pass, Ore., found himself at a crossroads in his life. His marriage had just broken up and he had just retired from a career of college teaching. He like many Americans began to see the pictures unfolding on his television screen of disaster in Central America from Hurricane Mitch. Horrified by the havoc he saw, Bro. Johnson decided to help out. "I can build houses," he told himself.

Mormon grandmother finds a 'Dream Man' (October Song)

Mormon grandmother Elaine Low has married for the third time, and this time its an Event. "This time I want to be married in a church." she said before the ceremony began, "I want flowers all over the place and a beautiful long dress. I want to walk down an aisle with about 100 relatives watching. I want flower girls and an organ and a bagpiper piping Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms. I want . . . I want. . . ." Low, who is 78, married 86-year-old Colin McGregor on October 23rd.

After 9 Boys -- IT'S A GIRL!

After 22 years of boys, Kelli Skinner finally has a girl. Skinner, who is LDS, has had nine children during those 22 years, gave birth to a 7-pound, 12-ounce girl on October 5th. The Skinners will call her Daisy.
