The Other Side of Heaven Scheduled to Open December 14 in Select Theaters
Excel Entertainment Group has announced an official release date for the upcoming big-budget feature film The Other Side of Heaven. The Other Side of Heaven will open in 2 Wasatch Front theaters on Friday, December 14. The following week, December 21, the film will expand to open in over 50 theaters in Utah and Idaho. The film is expected to open in other markets, including Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada and California in January 2002, and in other markets around the country by early spring.

Pacific Island Films Announces the Launch of a New Film Division, Sweetwater Films, Slated to Produce Mormon-Themed Movies
Pacific Island Films (PIF), a fledgling mini-studio founded by Australian actor-turned-entrepreneur, Steve Stubbs (Class Of '74), was recently joined by Mormon actor-writer-director, Jongiorgi Enos (last seen by Mormon audiences as "John The Baptist" in Testaments Of One Fold And One Shepherd and as Peg's boyfriend "Ed" in Richard Dutcher's Brigham City). Since joining forces the two partners have announced their intention to launch Sweetwater Films (SWF), a division of the parent company, Pacific Island.
