MoTab To Appear on 'Touched by an Angel' Sunday
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is featured on
Sunday's episode of the TV series 'Touched by an Angel,' adding a
musical tribute in an episode that supports a family in the aftermath
of the September 11th terrorist attacks. The episode, "I'll Be Home
for Christmas" will be broadcast on Sunday, instead of in 'Touched by
an Angel's' normal Saturday night timeslot.
The episode, directed by Victor Lobl and written by Martha
Williamson, focuses on the Lewis family, mourning a beloved member of
the community who is missing after the September 11th attacks. Young
Benny Lewis is having a hard time understanding the disappearance his
favorite teacher, Mr. Harper, who is also the school's choir director
and the director for a local church's annual Christmas pageant. The
Angels help the family rekindle the holiday spirit through nostalgic
memories.
